We set out to redesign an outdated flash-based web app that allowed teachers to create lessons based on Wilson’s Just Words reading program.
I designed a contemporary, kid-friendly user interface that works on all modern browsers. The app utilizes javascript for user interaction.
Optimized for use on touch-enabled white boards so that students can interact with learning materials and mark phrasing on words and text passages.
Teachers can log on and create classes and lessons customized to the needs of their students, making it easy to setup class “materials”
I created a vibrant color palette reflecting the age group of the students that would be using the app which integrated with the theme of the existing reading program, and created assets to be used thematically throughout the app.
